Do You Know Your ABC's of God's Gospel and His Work?
Is the Gospel of the Kingdom of God that is preached today by evangelists and ministers, the same Gospel that Jesus Christ, Paul and all the apostles preached and taught? Is the work of preaching that gospel the same work that Christ authorized His church to be doing when He returns, and that He promises to give His power and authority, to help accomplish that great commission? Is the Gospel of the Kingdom of Godand Gospel of Jesus Christ the same Gospel, or two different Gospels?
The commission and work, that Jesus Christ gave to His disciples and to His church to do, is to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God to all the world, "even unto the end of the world,"Mat 28:18-20,Mark 16:15-16, Luke 24:47. The end of the world has not come yet, so that command and commission is still in effect and to be obeyed!
Christ's disciples at the time of Christ's ministry, which was before their conversion, believed that the Gospel of the Kingdom of God was about God's government of Israel being set up once again on earth with Christ as King. They were wrong and in error, and were corrected about what the Gospel was that Christ came to preach and they being unconverted, were only thinking in the flesh, and of gaining power and authority, not having the Holy Spirit. Today, every wise and faithful servant as a minister of the Gospel of Christ and every church supporter of that work, had better examine, take the test, and prove to themselves, that what they are doing is Christ's work, and what they are preaching is the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. If it is not, they are not being wise and faithful servants, doing God's work of preaching His Gospel, giving food in due season, and could all be under a curse, Gal. 1:6-10, and later receive even greater punishment (few to many stripes) in the day of Christ's judgment upon the earth, Luke 12:42-48.
What is the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, and what is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and what is the work that Jesus Christ commanded His church to do and accomplish, "even unto the end of the world?"Taking a simple little testcould help church people know and understand if they are proclaiming and supporting the Gospel of the Kingdom, the Gospel that Christ preached, or are they supporting the preaching of a "perverted Gospel" or even "another Gospel?" This test could be the most important test you have ever taken in your life, to help you examine your faith, and to know what you believe and why, and where you stand in your relation to Jesus Christ and to His work.
Here is the test. It is a multiple choice test. Choose which one of these 3 Gospels, either A, B, or C, that you have accepted as the true Gospel for your life, and the Gospel you are preaching and helping to support the work thereof, with your prayers, fellowship, encouragement, laboring example and fruit. The answer to this test of "what is the true Gospel," is given after you have made your choice.
Gospel A
This is a gospel that is primarily focused and preached as the "Good News" message about the coming Kingdom of God, or as that message is defined in the preaching of today's evangelists "the coming government of God." They leave no doubt in anyone's mind that this is their "focused gospel" message by their literature, articles and preaching with a continual emphasis on "church government." They openly say and preach in their publications and messages that Jesus Christ, His life, His sacrifice, His resurrection and His message pertaining to these things is not the primary focus of the Gospel. Even though they preach Christ as Savior, they teach that He, Christ, is not the primary focus of "their gospel." The coming Kingdom of God, or "coming government of God" as it relates to "church government" and as every one of their members must submit to that government is the focus, and the Good News of these gospel proclaimers. Is this the Gospel and work that you are doing and have accepted?
Gospel B
This is a widely preached and focused message of Good News about Jesus Christ as Savior, and this "preached Good News message" is focused completely on the Jesus Christ of today's Christianity. This is a Christ that is preached, who demands nothing of the sinner except to confess Christ's Name, without the sinner recognizing and confessing sins based on God's law, nor having the sinner see his need to repent of his sins, the breaking of God's 10 Commandments, as the basis for his repentance. These Gospel proclaimers believe that the "Christ" they confess, accepts them for justification and salvation, based only on the faith of accepting and confessing His name. These Gospel proclaimers believe the Christ, who they have confessed and accepted, shed his blood to do away with the 10 commandments and the sins that pertains to their transgressions. They believe they now have real liberty to choose what is good and what is evil by their own knowledge. This is their "good news message" that is presented as the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and preached by their preachers and evangelists over the whole world. Is this the gospel and work that you have accepted?
Gospel C
This is a gospel that is scarcely known except by close and indepth Bible study. It is a Gospel that has been neglected, perverted, twisted in its interpretation, and is scantily preached, and is referred to from God's Word as the mystery of the Gospel. This is due to the fact that Gospels A and B are so widely preached and have over shadowed Gospel C, and have added to or taken away from its message, causing it not to be known and widely preached as the Good News that Jesus Christ brought to the earth.
This preached "Good News" Gospel message focuses totally on Jesus Christ as man's savior. This Gospel teaches that Christ is Savior and is "Good News" to man because He reveals to man that he can be saved from the penalty of his sins, if he as a sinner will repent of his sins which is the breaking of God's 10 commandments, and accepts Jesus Christ as his Savior. At this point of this "Good News" message, man will be forgiven, justified of his sins through Christ's death and sacrifice, and be given salvation, eternal life in God's Kingdom. These Gospel proclaimers believe there is no other Gospel, and no greater Good News to man than this preached Gospel. However, they believe that their Christ does require of each one of them to pray, study and work diligently and zealously at holding on to this precious eternal life gift they believe they have been given, by continually resisting and overcoming the temptations of sin, which is the breaking of God's 10 commandments. They believe the Spirit that God has given them helps them to do this. This is what they believe their God is referring to, when He directs them to work out their own salvation.
As part of this Gospel C, "Good News" message, they believe after repentance and baptism, they will be given God's Holy Spirit, that will help them keep God's commandments, the foundation for bearing the fruit His love, and to help man resist the temptations of sin. They believe Christ brought all of this to the earth from God's Kingdom, and He came to represent and present this as the Gospel of the Kingdom of God with His life, His sacrifice and His resurrection, as it pertains to the forgiveness of man's sins, the justification of his sins, and man being redeemed, rescued and saved from this sinful world. This message involves what man must do and understand in recognizing his sins defined by God's law, His 10 commandments, coming to repentance and having faith in Christ as his Savior. They believe Christ proclaimed this as the "Good News of the Kingdom of God," sent from that Kingdom of God, by God the Father, and it is referred to in Christ's Word as both the Gospel of the Kingdom of God and as the Gospel of Jesus Christ, not two different Gospels. This is the good news that man can become a member, living forever in God's Kingdom. These Gospel proclaimers admit very few are doing the work of preaching this Gospel today, because of the overwheming popularity, influence, and deception of Gospels A and B. Is Gospel C, the Gospel and work that you have accepted and are doing of spreading and proclaiming to the world today?
This has been a test of your life! These are 3 believed and accepted Gospels of today's Christianity, but only one of them, Gospel C, is the true Gospel. The other 2 are perversions of the Gospel, creating another gospel, and have perverted the Gospel of Christ, by adding to, or diminishing from the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, or the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Which one did you choose, and are you following, and can you explain from God's Word why you chose, and are following that Gospel? Was your answer based on Christ's Word, I Pet. 3:15, or what man teaches to be the Gospel from his perverted understanding?
God's says in the beginning of His Word, Deut. 4:1-2, Deut. 12:32, and at the end of His Word, Rev. 22:18-19,that we are not to add to or take away from His Word. If we do, God will ADD TO us the plagues of His judgment and TAKE AWAY our opportunity for salvation.
Lets's examine these 3 gospels with more detail, to get a clearer picture that can help one identify what Christ taught as the Gospel, recognizing the light from darkness, truth from error, and the true Gospel from the perverted Gospels. Hopefully, this will help you determine which Gospel you should be accepting, that will determine your salvation, and that you should be preaching to others and helping others to preach to the world.
Gospel A. --(Gospel A-stands for ANOTHER gospel, ADDING to the gospel and AFTER the working of Satan-gospel)
This is a good news-gospel where its teachers cause its followers's attention to be focused on the words, "Kingdom of God." These teachers interpret these words to mean good news of God's government, God's coming Kingdom, or coming government to the earth, rather than the Good News represented in Jesus Christ sent from God's Kingdom, John 3:15-17. These church leaders work this meaning of "the Kingdom of God" in with their "created church government" and are constantly trying to prove to its church members, that this "church government teaching" is by Christ's direction and command, without them giving any supporting and proving Scriptures. Nor can they give the place and time that Christ spoke to them personally, and told them that the church of Jesus Christ is to be ruled by a "hierarchical, structured, government." In fact, the opposite is true. Jesus Christ plainly states in His Word, Mat. 20:25-27, that His disciples are not to govern themselves as the leaders of the governments of the world, which are Satan's kingdoms, and this certainly includes a hierarchical government. In fact, Christ tells His disciples that they are not to seek to serve to be exalted to some created office of rank, but to always abase and humble themselves, and that God, not man, will exalt them later at His time schedule. To prove this, study these scriptures, Mat. 23:12, Luke 14:11, Mat. 18:4, James 4:6,10, I Pet. 5:6.
This gospel causes church member's attention to be focused and directed on their submission to "man's church government and organization," through a hierarchical structure. The exalted ones of their hierarchy will exalt church members as they grow in their submission to "church government." This causes certain ones to be exalted as the leaders, with offices of rank and an order of rank. In short, they have created another office that the "called of God" must answer to in judgment before they answer to Christ. These "self-exalted leaders" then demand great respect and honor to themselves, or the kind of honor and respect that only God the Father, and Jesus Christ should receive. They demand of the lowly sheep to always refer to them as Master, or for short, Mr., and to always respect them in their self-appointed office, and if they don't, these lowly sheep may be called into question of having developed a bad attitude,or as having become bitter. Study Mat.23:8-12 to get further understanding of this "church government" and its demanding of great respect.
This is a gospel that is afterthe working and ways of Satan, and the pursuit of the flesh, which God says He will destroy and bring death to its followers, Rom. 8:5-9, 13. These gospel preachers and evangelists teach that their organization, called the Church of God, is the true church of Christ and is "God's government on the earth," and they demand of its members total submission to its governance, as a "God appointed church hierarchy." This "church government hierarchy" takes pre-eminence over the lives of all its church members. Oh yes, they teach another gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ, but they leave no question or doubt in any one of their member's minds that their "government gospel" is the predominant Gospel of Christ's teaching, and is the Good News Gospel. They teach in all of their literature and television broadcasts that the gospel of the Kingdom of God is not the Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ. To them the Gospel of Jesus Christ is another gospel, and is not the focus of Christ's teaching when Christ said He came to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God. Every church member should ask and answer what God states in Jer.23:31-32,these sell-appointed men are prophets and pastors that God has not sent, nor commanded them, and do not profit the people at all, Jer. 23:32? They have really cause the people "to forget My Name", verse 27, by causing people's minds and hearts to be focused on church government and the flesh as the gospel rather than Jesus Christ.
These "church leaders" have not only perverted the true Gospel of salvation through Jesus Christ, by adding and commanding every member's submission to "their church government" in order to be saved, much like the religious Jews of the past were perverting Christ's Gospel by adding circumcism to His Gospel, but they also are teaching another "Gospel of the Kingdom of God." This gospel they preach is about and AFTER themselves, after the flesh, and not after Christ, II Cor. 4:4-6. God makes the statement in Jeremiah 23:36,>>>You have perverted the words of the living God." There are not two Gospels of Christ's teaching, there is there only one Gospel. Self-pointed evangelists, ministers, along with church people have perverted the WORDS of the GOSPEL and WORK OF THE LIVING GOD
This, "another gospel," that is preached as being necessary for salvation, has been founded and built on how God dealt with the nation of Israel of the past. The early Israelites did not have the leadership of God's spirit working in all of its members as it is now, or at least as it has been made available now in today's churches of God, so those early Israelites needed spiritual leadership. Jesus Christ, the God of the Old Testament, personally came to Moses in person, appointed Moses in person, appointed and commanded Moses, who had been given God's Holy Spirit to lead His nation out of Egypt and through the wilderness. Study Exodus, Chapters 2 and 3.
Christ has not spoken personally to any man today, but to all through His Word to do His work, and to love and encourage one another in doing that work. Men today have appointed men or a man to be the head, leader and spokesman over God's church with a church government of power, and authority of presumptuousness over God's spirit that is working in each member of Christ, that Christ has given individually, to lead and direct His spirit-begotten members, I John 2:27. Christ has not come to the earth and personally appointed anyone to be "the head" and a "special anointed leader" over His church, as He personally came to and appointed Moses and as He personally, came in Person, and appointed Paul with a commission to take His Gospel of salvation to the gentiles of the world.
Men today have used this, " ANOTHER gospel of government structure," to give themselves that authority, and power over the church, NOT by CHRIST's authority! Christ has not given any pastor power and authority over another member except in the role of leading by example of love and pointing that member to Jesus Christ and God the Father and their Word. Paul said so himself, that they, the ministers, are not there to have dominion over church people's faith but to be helpers of their joy for it is by faith in Jesus Christ we are to stand, II Cor. 1:24. Today's pastors and evangelists have presumptously assumed that role of church authority without God personally appointing them, and without His authority. By this role of government teaching they have set up idols in the hearts of members who worship men, idols of "man following", idols of the "pursuit of the flesh" and the "exalting of the flesh", rather than Jesus Christ and the leadership of His Spirit. These men have become stumbling blocks to God's true work and the preaching of His true Gospel. They will pay for their presumptuousness, along with the people that they have deceived, and who are following them and the idols of their hearts, Ezekiel 14:1-8.
This gospel that is AFTER Satan and the flesh of men, is all the fruit of men striving after the flesh, and creating all kinds of problems in the church by creating idols among the members and the ministry. Men coveting money, God's tithes and striving after power of positions over the flock of Christ's calling. This creates a unity in the flesh, and not the spirit, and is based on fear, that one cannot look to and follow Christ and the leadership of His Spirit if this in anyway crosses or works contrary to this "gospel of church government." Is this, "ANOTHER gospel," the gospel that you are following and supporting, with all of its sins, divisions and curses, and its ADDING to the Gospel of Christ, which is nothing less than a striving AFTER the working of Satan and the pursuit of the flesh? This "government gospel" is a gospel of waring after the flesh, glorying after flesh, with the flesh lusting against the spirit, Gal. 5:17. This Gospel produces the works of the flesh, and anyone basing their salvation on this gospel will not inherit the Kingdom of God, Gal. 5:19-21, because it is sowing to the flesh, reaping corruption, Gal. 6:18. The followers of this gospel "have not crucified the flesh with its affections" (the lust of power, authority, and money-tithes) and unlawful desires, Gal. 5:24, and they will not be in God's Kingdom.
Gospel B. (Gospel B.-stands for BAD News, a BLURRED, and a BEWITCHED Gospel)
This Gospel is a worldwide, preached message that is professed to be the Gospel of Jesus Christ and of man's salvation. However, in reality, this is really a "bad news-gospel" about a false christ. This "professed to be good news" is a bad news message about a "christ" that has been created in the image of the god of this world, Satan, that inspired man to eat from the "tree of the knowledge of good and evil," and man by this decision, and through his own intellect, now determines what is right and wrong, and does not have to rely on God and His commandments. It is a gospel inspired by the god of this world, Satan, who is given to sin, and is the minister of sin.
This gospel is a gospel of BAD news because it has created a christ that accepts people for salvation on the basis of only accepting, and confessing the name of Christ. Sinners are taught by today's professed Christian evangelists to believe, that Christ accepts them without them recognizing their sins, or confessing and repenting of their sins, and sins that are based on God's definition of what is sin, I John 3:4. This is badly BLURRING the vision of the true gospel of Jesus Christ and causes its followers to become UNABLE to see and recognize sin as the breaking God's 10 Commandments, but all the while seeking to be justified of their sins. However, by this BLURRED vision, they are still found to be sinners, still breaking God's Ten Commandments, and by this, have made this christ they worship and follow, the minister of sin, Gal. 2:17. This is not the Christ of the Bible but a "created christ" of Satan, who is their minister of sin.
John the Baptist spoke of Christ's coming and His message in Mat. 3:7-12, as either "good news" or "bad news." It all depends on how every person responds to that news! Christ's Gospel is "good news" if a person repents of his sins, accepts Christ's sacrifice, and is then baptized to receive God's Spirit and salvation, but if a person rejects, or blurrs that news, it then becomes "bad news," reaping with it the baptism of the unquenchable fire, Mat. 3:12, Luke 3:16-17.
This "BAD news Gospel" is a gospel that is preached by preachers and evangelists that BEWITCH the people through magic of television, and miracles of their theatrics. They cause people to be brought under their power, spell and charm, by presenting their Gospel message in a bewitching manner. All of this rejects, twists, and perverts the good news (Gospel) that is presented by Christ and His apostles. It really represents "another gospel" and "a perverted gospel" because they take away from the true gospel. This is because of man's carnal (fleshly) mind, Romans 8:7, and Satan's influence, II Cor. 11:13-15, to reject the law of the love of God, summed up in The 10 Commandments. People will believe Satan's every conceivable lie, inspired by his ministers, to try to prove Christians are under no obligation to obey God's 10 Commandments. Every believer, in order to receive salvation, and be a receiver of the good news, must repent of transgressing God's law, His 10 Commandments, Mat. 4:17, Acts 2:38. Today's professed Christian teaching has so twisted the meaning of repentance and sin, to mean something other than turning one's heart to obey God's 10 Commandments. They are preaching another Gospel, Gal. 1:9, a "BAD news gospel." Are you living by this gospel, and is your salvation you think you have, based on this "BAD news Gospel?"
Gospel C. (CHRIST'S Gospel)
The Gospel of Jesus Christ's is the only true Gospel, and it is the "Gospel of the Kingdom of God." Gospel, meaning good news or good message, and Jesus Christ is the good news and the God messenger, bringing God's good message from God's Kingdom. Jesus Christ is salvation and He offers that salvation to any sinner that will repent of his sins, which is breaking any and all of God's 10 Commandments, and in faith will accept Christ and His sacrifice, which pays the penalty for man's commandment transgression. Peter told the people in his day to "repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit," Acts 2:38. Peter also said in Acts 3:19-20,"Repent you therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; (verse 20) and He shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached, unto you."
Notice in John 6:29, 40, the work Christ gave to His disciples was "to teach people to believe on Christ," whom the Father sent. The Gospel about Jesus Christ was what Paul started out preaching and continued to preach, Acts 9:20, and I Cor. 15:1-4. The Gospel of Jesus Christ offers to every repentant sinner forgiveness of his sins, through His great mercy and justification of those sins through His sacrifice, and then He gives the gifts of salvation and His Holy Spirit to any person desiring these precious blessings and gifts.
